GFC Interns Wraps Up a Summer of Work and Study
As summer has come to a close we've bid farewell to another great group of interns who participated in our Gaby Fellowship.Over the past several months they've been serving on our team as interns and academic fellows.
Each one worked alongside GFC staff getting hands-on experience in public policy, communications and more. They also participated in a rigorous academic curriculum that explores the conditions necessary for humans to thrive. GFC was proud to host three outstanding Gaby Fellows this summer:
Rosy Harvey
College: graduated from Davidson College this spring with a degree in political science.
Role at GFC: served in GFC's Center for an Educated Georgia, and we're happy to say she was just hired full time as the Center's Grassroots and Administrative Coordinator.
"The insight I gained from my time here has built a foundation for future endeavors in the policy and non-profit sector."
Beth O'Neill
College: University of Kansas where she is studying sociology, with a minor in leadership and policy.
Role at GFC: served in GFC's Center for Policy Studies
"Over the past three months, the curriculum in the fellowship and the responsibilities of the internship has stretched me both professionally and academically."
Savannah Stroud
