Fellowship Program

Are you a college student, graduate student, or recent grad looking for work experience and resume building? If you are interested in an opportunity to gain experience and training in the day to day operations of a non-profit organization and to join an academic community focused on learning and challenging one another intellectually and spiritually, the Gaby Fellowship at Georgia Family Council (GFC) could be your next step.
The Gaby Fellowship is designed to provide participants with the unique opportunity to fill two roles at GFC: intern and academic fellow:
- As an intern, participants gain valuable experience by working with and learning from GFC employees.
- As an academic fellow, participants read and discuss a canon of western moral and intellectual tradition to the end of discovering the conditions in which human persons flourish.
This combination makes the Gaby Fellowship a well-rounded and highly beneficial work and academic experience.
The curriculum for the Gaby Fellowship centers around the ideal of human flourishing. What elements of life are essential for humans to thrive? What conclusions must we draw about the nature of religion, government, policy and community? What responsibilities do these conclusions place upon us? It is with these questions in mind that we address the following topics over the course of the Fellowship.
